“In gesprek met Reinbert de Leeuw”

On Friday evening November 16 at 8.00 p.m. the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague will be the backdrop for a special evening around Reinbert de Leeuw and the music of Hungarian composer György Kurtág.
Reinbert de Leeuw, who was awarded the Silver Medal of the city of Amsterdam and the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds Prijs for his entire career in September 2018, recorded all ensemble and choral works by Kurtág.
As part of the György Kurtág Festival he will shed his light on Kurtág’s music and will speak about his experience in working together with the composer. Works of amongst others Kurtág will be played by members of Asko|Schönberg, together with students from the Royal Conservatoire.
