Susanne de Vaan studied jazz vocals at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague and holds a bachelor of education degree for primary schools. She teaches at art centres and primary schools and works as a teacher trainer in primary schools. From 2011 she has been specialising in teaching music according to the Kodály concept.
